Superdrug Makeup Haul/First Impressions!

Hello there my lovely readers! How are you all? I haven't posted since like forever as I've been busy with college and stuff! But I reckon it’s time for a new post as I’m way overdue with my posts!

Recently I've been doing bits of shopping here and there so I thought it would be nice to do a mini haul / first impressions kind of post showing you some items! It's all going to be beauty based items so no fashion items today!

So Let’s Begin..!

I have been on the hunt for a new makeup bag since ages and never seem to find 'the right one'. But a couple of weeks ago, I was in Primark and I came across this bag and fell in love with it! It’s simple and stylish and just looks super cute! I brought the small size. It was only £3!! 💗 It is in a nude pink colour and has ‘atmosphere’ engraved on a gold plaque. It has like a weaved basket design on and I just love it <3

These next few items I have purchased are all from Superdrug. At the minute they have got an offer which is 3 for 2 across all makeup which is awesome! =D

Okay so I don't know if you've heard of the makeup brand called 'Makeup Revolution. It's a new makeup range with amazing products at super affordable prices ❤ The first thing that really caught my attention was their eye shadow palettes! They have a good selection of palettes and I've heard a lot of great things about them! I've read that they are amazing dupes of the urban decay naked palettes! I purchased the 'Iconic palette 2' which is the dupe for the Naked 2 palette.

The packaging of the product itself is quite good for £4. The colours are all really nice and you can create loads of different looks with it. The colour pigmentation is also very impressive considering the price. If any of you would like to see the swatches of each of the colours then do let me know and I will make a separate post on it =)

The second product is the same brand and it is the ‘Bronze, Shimmer and highlight palette’. It has 3 different shades to allow you to bronze shimmer and highlight leaving a nice and healthy glow on your skin. Am not much of a highlighter person but only wear it now and again but this one look good to try out and I love how its all in one palette! This was also £4.

My third and last beauty item is one I've used many times before and it is the cherry flavoured baby lips! I've not tried any from the latest collection but I love this cherry flavoured one because not only does it moisturise your lips but also gives them a slight hint of colour. It's great just to carry when you want to touch up or just as a nice lip balm to use on the go! ❤

Would You Rather? ( Beauty Addition)

Hey guys! Okay so I know I haven't done a blog post in AGES!! :O I have been really busy so I am really sorry about that!

So today am just doing a quick Beauty Tag Post! I was kindly tagged by the lovely Lauren from Beauty May! <3

1. Would you rather lose all your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?

Ooh... I think I'd have to say I would rather loose all of my palettes and eye shadows just because I only wear eye shadow now and again but I wear eyeliner, lipsticks and the other stuff a lot more! Oh & I LOVE lipstick! It's one thing I can't go out without!!

2. Would you rather chop off all of your hair or never be able to cut it ever again?

Hmm.. I think i would say chop all my hair off.. only because i wear a headscarf so to me it doesn't really matter and also my hair grows pretty fast so that's a good thing I suppose :D

3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

There both so pretty colours! But I think I would go for pink because it goes with my skin tone better and I think it would compliment anyone's skin tone :)

4. If you have £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
OMG... Nooo that's a hard one! I love both clothes and makeup <3 can't I just say I would spend about half on each?!

5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

Say what?!? Oh my... Imagine using a lipstick as an eyeliner! Gosh that would be super weird and just come out messy.. So I say I would apply an eyeliner as a lipstick!!

6. Would you rather only shop in Boots/sephora or only shop in MAC?

I would definitely only shop in Boots. Boots have so many different brands ranging from low to high end products so there is something for everyone! Not only that, Boots have tons of different brands & I love trying things from different brands! Whereas MAC is more high end and you can't explore with other makeup brands as you would be able to in Boots!

7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?

So by now you have probably figured I love my lipsticks! So If I had to pick I would rather use only one eyeshadow colour for the rest of my life!!

8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer, or summer clothes in winter?

I would rather wear summer clothes in winter! Why? because with summer clothes you can layer things under or over the top to suit your style but if you wore winter clothes in the summer could you imagine how hot you would be feeling?!? Well.. It actually depends where you live because in the U.K summer isn't always as you imagine it to be!!

9. Would you rather have bright nails or dark nails all year round?

Ahh... I find this one tough :( but I think I would go for Dark nails! I don't like having bright nail polishes but if it was pastel colours then yeah I would go for them too!

10. Would you rather give up your favorite lip colour or favorite eye colour?

You probably would have figured by now.. Most likely going to be favorite eye colour!

11. Would you rather only wear your hair in a ponytail or messy bun?

Well, I wear a headscarf so for me it's not much of a problem.. But I would say in a messy bun I think just because your hair is completely out of the way and still cute and casual at the same time <3

Review Time.... Tanya Burr Nail Polish!!

So Today I was thinking of a blog post to do and I saw this product sitting on my table! So why not do a quick product review on this! I've had this for a while now and it’s the Tanya Burr Nail Polish! I don’t really wear nail polish much but I like to wear it now and again! Oh if you don’t already know who Tanya Burr is she is a well known youtuber! She recently launched her own collection of makeup! Well... It has been a while and I am pretty late as I am doing a review like months later but never mind!

Okay let’s start of with the packaging of this product..! The bottle is a good square sort of design and very simple :) The Tanya Burr nail polish comes in 10 gorgeous different colours which are all so pretty but I decided to go for this nude baby pink sort of colour which is called 'Mini Marshmallows’. I love the name and it totally reminds me of marshmallows haha!

The brush of this product is like any other nail polish brush and the product is easy to apply on. On to the actual product itself now! I love the nail polish because the colour can be worn anytime on any occasion whether it’s for everyday purpose or a special occasion as it is such a neutral light colour and can dress up any outfit! When I first applied this with only one layer of the polish the colour didn't come out to well so I had to apply a couple of coats so the colour would show! Once I had applied a few layers of nail polish the colour was lovely and had a really nice baby pink finish! I loved it! <3

I was slightly disappointed at the fact that I had to apply few coats but nevertheless I still liked the product! Although I think it’s because the colour is generally really light so it needs to be coated a few times! However, I have heard and read that the other colours only need about 2 coats so that’s awesome =D

Overall, I really like the Tanya Burr nail polish and I think it was a great purchase! The nail polishes retail at £5.99 each and can be purchased at any Superdrug store.

1AM Update!

Okay! So it's currently 1AM and just in bed getting nice and cosy! Am still not tired and I don't know what to do so what's better then doing a quick blog post!!

If your wondering when that picture was taken.. It was taken by me during the evening today! The sunset looked so amazing.. The picture just doesn't do enough justice but nevertheless it still looked beautiful!!

Hope your all doing good! Sorry that my posting has been all over the place and not to organised! Am still new to all this and I've been busy lately! So am really sorry about that but I promise I will start to get more organised once I sort things out!!

In the meantime, I am planning a few blog posts for you guys which I can't wait to do! Hopefully during the next week I will have another one or 2 posts out once I have done them!! Also once I start getting some of my back to school items I will be sharing them with you which I am super excited about :D I actually love shopping for Back to school because you get to shop for all your new stationary and clothes!!👛

Anyway this was just another one of my quick update kinda posts! One more thing.. I just got my college results on Thursday! I don't really have a favorite T.V programme at the minute! But one of my recent fave has been Orphan Black!

Nope but I used to have one cat and 3 kittens! I miss them loads though 😪😞

I have loads of fave bloggers :O but as for vlogging..

I love watching 'Hannah Maggs'. She is a youtuber and does weekly vlogs! They are amazing and I always look forward to watching them! =D

Also I have recently found myself watching the 'Sacconejolys' aswell! They vlog their everyday life along with their 2 cute children Emilia & Eduardo!

4. What is your favourite makeup brand?

Hmm... I can't pick one favourite brand but I can tell you my 3 top fave makeup brands at the minute which are

5. Hair up or down?

Well I wear a headscarf but if I had to pick then it would be hair up 👍

6. If you could meet one celebrity in the world who would it be?

It's not really a celebrity but she's a famous person and has her own show and it's Ellen DeGeneres because she seems so friendly and nice! Also if you’re lucky you could maybe meet more celebrities through her & most importantly she helps make people's dreams in to reality👌☺️👍

7. Are you a clean or a messy person?

Weirdly enough am actually a bit of both! I can be the messiest person but then when I want to be a neat freak I can be very neat. haha! 🙈

8. What is your dream job?

Hmm.. I don't really know what my dream job would be.. Maybe a residential social worker in a children's care home :) Or a successful Blogger =D

9. Would you prefer your hair to be messy and your makeup to be nice or have nice hair with no makeup?

I wear a headscarf but it actually depends! If my face had blemishes that day and my dark circles were bad then I would prefer my hair messy and my makeup nice! Makeup can change your physical appearance so I would definitely say I would want my makeup to be nice 👍 as for my hair .. I'll just rock the messy look! 😎
But if my face was okay and my dark circles aren't too bad then I would rather have my hair nice and no makeup! Its good to show that natural beauty as well! =)

10. Who’s your favourite singer?

I don't have one specific favourite singer.. I listen to lots of different artists! =D

11. If you were stuck on a desert Island what 3 items would you bring?

Oooh that's a tough one! But my top 3 things would probably be

- My mobile phone so I can ring people and ask them to come help me! =O

- Some food/drinks! You never know when you will be hungry and how long you will be there for!

- & some spare clothes because you don’t know how long you will be stuck for But hopefully with the help of my phone I would be rescued quickly :D

Hey There! First of all I am going to apologise for not uploading for a while. It has been over a week so I am sorry to have kept you waiting! So in order to make up for that I will be uploading 2 blog posts today so this one along with another one! Or I will upload it sometime during the week! I hope you guys will enjoy it! <3

Today I am going to be reviewing a product which I have been using recently and I think that it is a must have in every home! It’s the Aloe Vera Gelly! Also the other day a glass frame fell on to my mum and hit her face which as you can imagine must have been extremely painful. It hit her near her lip and within seconds it had bruised up and she was in pain. I got some Aloe Vera Gelly and told her to apply it on to her bruise. After about 20 minutes or less the bruise had gone down! She re applied it 2 or 3 times during the day and by the evening the bruise had gone and disappeared!

This product is amazing! I didn't expect it to be so good but when I tried it out for my self and saw that it actually works I was amazed! It’s literally like a mini first aid kit! Aloe Vera Gelly can be used for anything from healing cuts, bruises, scars and much more. It’s also great to apply after Waxing, Lasering or even after an Electrolysis treatment. For me personally, this is a product that I am definitely going to keep using.

Eid Outfit Of The Day! (OOTD)

Hello Girlies! The last time I posted it was Ramadhaan and now the blessed month has passed by and Eid is also gone! But a Belated Eid Mubarak to you all! I hope you all had a great time! I definitely did as I spent it with the ones I love most… My Family <3

Today’s post is actually Eid related. I thought I would upload an Eid OOTD post as I haven’t done any fashion related posts yet and also it was requested so obviously I will start doing OOTD Posts as some of you lovely readers suggested it: D I will also show you some of the biscuits and cakes that I made seeing as I didn't show you much in my last blog post!

Okay so Here is my Eid Outfit!

Butterfly Sleeved Kaftan

I decided to wear something quite simple because I didn't want to wear a full on Indian sort of dress so I thought a kaftan would be a perfect alternative & I've been loving these types of kaftans lately! I just paired it with some basic black leggings from Primark underneath! If your wondering where this beautiful Kaftan is from its from Simply Hayaa! I will link the website below! My Complete Eid Outfit

To go with my dress I had to find a nice hijab! I wore a gorgeous gold hijab with specks of shimmer in it. It went very well with the embroidery and design on my kaftan. My hijab was actually purchased from a shop near to where I live called 'Ivy'. They sell tons of amazing hijabs in so many different colours and styles! I brought this last year but am sure they should still have similar designs there if you still wanted to purchase one like this.

My Bangles were actually a gift for my 13^th or 14^th birthday! Although I think it was originally from New Look. I like how they are very innovative yet very fashionable. I wasn't planning to wear these with my outfit but my sister accidentally took my hand piece home so I couldn't wear it but later when she came down I did swap it and wear the hand chain.

I love this hand chain and the pendant on here is soo pretty <3 There’s just something about it that I love! Oh and it went with my Kaftan so well! =D It’s like they were made to compliment each other! This stunning hand chain is also from Simply Hayaa! Definitely check them out because they are awesome and can spice up any plain outfit!

My clutch (sort of) bag is from Ebay or Amazon! One of the two :P I don’t know how much it was for and all the details exactly but I like the fact that it’s a nice and reasonable size so it can hold a good amount of things in there! It is designed with sequins all over and just adds that extra touch of sparkle!

Last but not least my shoes! Now if you read my last post you would have seen that I hate wearing heels for a long time! I didn't really go out for a long time so it was okay. However, I actually opted for some flats when I did go out! They were just some plain cream coloured flats with a cute bow on them from Primark! I didn't take a picture of them so i wont show you how they looked! However, the heels that I had planned to wear were some gold sparkly kitten heels. I picked these because I think that they went with the bag very well! I did take a picture of them for you though :D

Family & Loved Ones<3

Moving on to some of the Eid biscuits and cakes I was going to show you guys! I didn't actually bake much things although I remember I was in the kitchen for what felt like ages baking!!

I made this delicious chocolaty cake which turned out pretty nice! Me and my sister were supposed to design it with coloured icing but we were too tired so I designed it with some cute chocolate stars which still look great =D I also made a plain cake but I didn't really take a separate picture of that.
